It is evident from this 1977 article that the Conservation Districts have held a long history of collaboration with multiple governmental agencies. Here, we see a Carroll County Conservation District-hosted event with expertise provided by New Hampshire Water Supply and Pollution Control (now New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services) and the Soil Conservation Service (now Natural Resources Conservation Service). This is a prime example of collaboration between county, state, and federal organizations for the betterment of local landowners and the environment, something the Districts continue to hope to foster today. Who would you like to see Carroll County Conservation District partner with in the future?
