On this Flash Back Friday, we celebrate the conservation district supervisors who have volunteered their time and expertise with the goal of improving each county’s natural resources for the past 75 years.
In particular, the Merrimack County Conservation District remembers Pembroke dairy farmer Stanley Grimes Sr., who spent over 30 years as a conservation district supervisor as an associate supervisor, supervisor, and chairman. In appreciation of his service, MCCD offers a college scholarship in his name to foster the next generation of conservationists, which is due today.
