Today we’re featuring the Hillsborough County Conservation District. HCCD has always been focused on fostering a love for conservation in our youth. Over the years we have provided conservation education programming, models and activities to create and maintain an interest in the natural world. From holding annual Conservation Field Days, tabling at various fairs and events and offering hands-on activities to holding Poster Contests and providing educational models for use in the classroom to learn about watersheds, worm composting and growing plants, it has been a joy to see the kids come alive getting outside and learning about all of the wonders of our natural environment. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to provide these services to the younger generation within the County.
